OUR AWARD-WINNING MUSIC PROGRAM
Little Notes Music Class is the exclusive provider of the Music Pups program from The Music Class in the St. Louis Area.

OUR PROGRAM
-
Fun Music & Movement Classes: For children from 6 months to 5 years old, to attend with their parent or caregiver. Class size ranges from 6 to 12 children.
-
Nationally Acclaimed Materials: Exclusive provider of materials from The Music Class, Inc. ® These materials are being used in over 30 cities in the United States and International locations including Mexico, Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and France.
-
Informal Instruction: Children participate as they choose and do so at their own developmental level. We stimulate learning through play.
-
Mixed Age Classes: Our activities focus on adult/child interaction rather than child/child interaction so that children of different ages (such as siblings) can enjoy class together.
-
Instruments: Are carefully selected for age- appropriateness for young children.
-
Music: The collections change each session. With each new enrollment in a new session (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer) you receive a CD and Songbook. We have enough for over 3 years of material before we start repeating collections!
OUR CURRICULUM
Music Pups® from The Music Class is a fun-filled curriculum of singing, dancing, movement, and instrument play designed to stimulate musical learning. Parents or caregivers attend with their child, learning how to enhance their child’s lifelong understanding and enjoyment of music. All classes include a book and CD (or download) of award-winning original and traditional songs.
3 REASONS TO INTRODUCE YOUNG CHILDREN TO MUSIC

SENSORY DEVELOPMENT
Just as taste, textures and colors aid a child’s sensory development, so does music. Exposing your child to different types of music can help create more pathways between the cells in their brains.

VOCABULARY GROWTH
Even though at first your child may not understand the words in a song or in a nursery rhyme, they do develop their understanding by identifying the storytelling in a song.

MUSIC IS A MOOD LIFTER
Many of parents tuck their children in with a lullaby or calm them down with a song. Just as music can soothe a child, it can also lift their spirit.
